Customization techniques

When it comes to custom apparel, both Screen Print (SP) and Sublimation offer high-quality results—each with unique advantages depending on your needs.

At Upline we usually recommend DTF printing for shorts while tops usually are sublimated. of course any option is possible and we´’ll work with you to make that happen!.

Screen Print (SP)

SP printing is an ideal solution when you need high-quality prints, fast turnaround, and the flexibility to work on almost any type of fabric. It’s a go-to option for anyone looking to create standout, long-lasting custom appareal.

Sublimation

Sublimation works best on 100% polyester or high-poly blends and is ideal for performance wear, team uniforms, custom tees, and branded merchandise.

Screen Print printing

Screen Print (SP) printing is a versatile and high-quality method for decorating apparel, allowing full-color designs to be printed onto a special film and then heat-transferred onto garments. It combines the detail of digital printing with the flexibility of traditional heat transfers—making it ideal for a wide range of fabrics and applications.

Why Choose SP Printing?

Vivid, Durable Prints: SP delivers sharp, full-color images with strong durability—resistant to washing, stretching, and wear.

  • Works on Almost Any Fabric: Unlike some methods that require polyester or light-colored garments, SP prints adhere well to cotton, blends, polyester, and even darker fabrics.
  • Flexible Quantities: Whether you need one shirt or hundreds, SP is efficient and cost-effective for both small runs and bulk orders.
  • Soft Feel: Modern SP prints offer a soft, flexible finish that maintains comfort without cracking or peeling.
  • Great for Detailed or Multicolor Designs: Perfect for logos, gradients, artwork, or photo-quality images.

Sublimation printing

Sublimation printing is a premium method of decorating apparel that uses heat and pressure to transfer vibrant, full-color designs directly into the fabric. Unlike other printing techniques that sit on top of the material, sublimation dyes the fabric itself—resulting in a smooth, long-lasting finish.

Why Choose Sublimation?

All-Over Printing: Unlike screen or vinyl printing, sublimation allows you to cover the entire garment with your design—from seam to seam.

  • Vibrant Colors: It produces rich, high-resolution images with crisp detail—perfect for logos, patterns, and creative designs.
  • Soft, Breathable Finish: Because the ink becomes part of the fabric, the final product is lightweight, breathable, and super comfortable to wear.
  • Durability: Sublimated prints are highly resistant to wear and tear, making them ideal for activewear, uniforms, and promotional apparel.
